2 weeks….

30 Apr

The last couple of months have been tear-filled, and accompanied by a feeling of worthlessness. But, I learned in church today, that the point I’m in a test of my faith. Because I’m a minor-control freak, God knows how I feel about not having a solid plan, but He wouldn’t allow this to happen to me if He wasn’t sure I could handle it. What I heard today was something I really needed. It was also a reminder that I need to stop worrying so much…especially about things that I have no control over. I’ve been sitting around wondering what I could’ve done different to ensure that I’d have a job upon graduation. But I don’t have a time machine, and wondering isn’t going to get me anywhere.

The only thing I can do is think about the wonderful times I’ve had here at HU. My semesters spent here at Hampton have been amazing. I’ve met great friends, learned some subject matter, but I’ve learned even more about myself. This time has been priceless.

I just hope that the words I wrote can manifest themselves into my spirit. I’m tired of crying about my looming unemployment and the idea of living with my mother. I need to have the confidence in myself, but more importantly, the confidence in God, that He will always do what’s best for me.

Diamond Shine Top Coat

3 Apr

Seriously, this has to be thee BEST product that I have ever purchased for my nails. Being the thrifty shopper that I am (lol) I bought this top coat when it was oPerfectionn sale at Target. It was the cheapest top coat I saw, so I grabbed it. A day or so later, I polished my nails hot pink, and used the Diamond Shine as a base and top! Four days later, my nails hadn’t chipped at all. Now, I thought it was luck, but not after three more tries.

I don’t think I’ll ever go back to using another type of  top coat. Time and time again, I’ve been promised extended wear of my nail polish with the use of Top Coat X! I’ve never actually had a polish live up to its claims. I’ve even been dissapointed by other Sally Hansen products. I’m so glad I found this! I think you should tryyyyy!!!
